Gardens
We combined this project with school gardens to encourage the younger generation to ask themselves how the food we daily buy in supermarkets is actually produced.
Together with the Institute for Sustainable Development, the Šiška secondary school and six primary schools from different regions (Stari trg ob Kolpi, Bršljin Novo mesto, Bled-Ribno, Rakek-Unec, Rogaška Slatina and Šmarje pri Jelšah), planted a permaculture garden at the Šiška secondary school towards the end of April. We mainly planted indigenous varieties of vegetables. We'll record their growth on our website and prepare a picnic after the harvest.
